Daddy has been working very hard on getting my room ready for my arrival. This weekend, he played "Michaelangelo" and painted it. Mommy said she was a little nervous giving Daddy a paintbrush, but when she saw the final result, WOW, was she surprised. Here is Daddy painting:

Geez Daddy, did you shower yet?So let's see how he did with my room? He says it isn't completed just yet, he needs to touch up the trim and maybe have Uncle Van help him install some Crown Moulding for a final touch.

My Daddy says it is a "foh" (faux) finish and is supposed to look "mottled." Mommy was VERY HAPPY with Daddy for his efforts. Mommy says she is getting ready to order my crib bedding through Grandma Carole. She is very excited at the patterns she chose and says it will match Daddy's painting perfectly.
So it seems things are going smoothly right now in anticipation of my arrival. Daddy says the painting of my room should be done by this week so it will be all ready for the furniture.
